After being an Austin Naked Yoga student for several years, Daryn made the transition from student to teacher in 2010 and became one of Austin Naked Yoga's primary instructors. He teaches our very popular Saturday morning naked yoga class, which is a fun yoga workout that is based in both flow and stillness.
My personal fitness journey began in middle school when I started working out on my own time training for track meets. I was very inflexible. In college I was able to immerse in a vinyasa flow yoga practice. After a couple years I took the influence of the lineages of Iyengar yoga and Jois Ashtanga Yoga. I’m into experiencing the asana (pose) and experiencing the breath. The embodied experience is the first and foremost aspect of hatha yoga to keep returning to everyday without attachment to any other goal. “Practice and all is coming.”
I have BA in psychology, certificates in EMT, Yoga teaching 200hr, and massage therapy. I’m interested in facilitating the whole human experience and training people to be the best version of themselves. I’m continually learning the authentic nature of the human spirit and methods for returning mind and body to it’s natural origins.
